On very rare occasions, I’m almost speechless.

This was… almost one of them. 😉

Yesterday, I had the honor of speaking to 1,000+ women leaders at the Women’s Leadership Conference hosted by the Greater Raleigh Chamber.

And yes—we talked about amplifying influence through neuroscience, humor, and storytelling. But here’s what actually stayed with me:

✨ The conversations that started with, “I’ve never said this out loud before…”
✨ The quiet pauses that meant something real just clicked
✨ The moments where you could see someone thinking differently in real time

And also… the collective realization that maybe—just maybe—we’ve all been overthinking this whole “wait until I feel ready” thing. 😏

Because influence isn’t built in the big, polished moments. It’s built in the small decisions:

👉 To stay in the room
👉 To question the story
👉 To go for it before you feel 100% ready

(Which, let’s be honest… may never happen anyway.)

📸 This is what 1,000 women leaning in looks like.

To every woman who showed up—whether you felt confident, uncertain, or somewhere in between—thank you. 💛 Showing up counts. Even when it’s messy.

And to the Raleigh Chamber… thank you for trusting me with a room that powerful.

Still thinking about it. Still grateful. And very much not done with this conversation.

Let’s keep going. 🚀
